How Sez Built the Hero
Remnant Violet (Riolet) needs a lot of stats to truly shine, but we think it is worth it.
Riolet needs enough damage to eliminate a target as soon as possible.
Riolet needs enough speed to put out his damage and accumulate his stacks as fast as possible.
Riolet needs enough health and defense so that he doesn't get killed through his evasion.
Considering these factors, we tried to balance it out and we think our stats has successfully achieved it in Challenger to Champion Arena League.
We typically pair him with Ruele or Roana to help sustain. We rely on him heavily to deal massive damage to a high priority target.
We find him especially strong in Guild Wars offense because he can quickly take out one hero, which is huge in Guild Wars where only 3 heroes are on a team.
Remnant Violet needs to be maxed +15 to put out maximum damage. Again he is one of those heroes where the more you invest the better he performs.
We prefer Moonlight Dreamblade to provide the maximum amount of Evasion in the beginning of a fight. It also provides extra protection incase the evasion buff is stripped.
We had a hard time deciding between Violet's Talisman and Moonlight Dreamblade. Ultimately, we chose Moonlight Dreamblade because we do not have a max copy Violet's Talisman and based on experience, we think most fights are decided before Violet's Talisman reaches full potential.
Therefore, we think Moonlight Dreamblade is overall the better and safer choice.
